Welcome to your friendly neighborhood hair salon. My name is Kaley and I am the artist behind Atypical Edge Artistry. I created this space to be somewhere I could always feel comfortable to show up as myself and invite my clients to do the same. A place where community can be built, fun hair can be created, and it’s always alright to be a little atypical. About me: A little bit about me; I grew up in the era of scene kids meaning box dye vivids in the bathroom at sleepovers. After graduating high school and changing majors every semester in college I finally gave beauty school a try. The first day I knew I had made the right choice. I graduated from Paul Mitchell the school in 2017 and immediately jumped into working full time behind the chair. I still love getting creative with bright colors and alternative looks, but I’m also more than happy to help with simple trims and natural colors. Whatever makes YOU feel like YOU. Oddities. Tattoos. Horses. Motorcycles. Cars. Salon policies: Zero tolerance for sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia or similar hate speech. Please notify the salon if you are running behind. Arriving 15 minutes past appointment time may result in needing to reschedule your appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please provide at least a 24 hour notice. Emergencies and illness happen. Repeat last minute cancellations will result in a deposit being required to schedule any future appointments. No call no shows will result in a non refundable deposit being required to schedule another appointment. Two no call no shows will prevent you from booking any future appointments.
